Privacy Statement

Sequotech SA (hereinafter referred to as "we") is a company incorporated under Swiss law whose purpose is to hold and manage its interests in the companies of the Sequotech group, and to provide legal and economic management of said companies, which include: dbi services sa (CHE-115.853.816), UDITIS SA (CHE-105.513.566), exxo it-services ag (CHE-115.245.574) and avency GmbH (Amtsgericht Münster, HRB 8642).

As such, we attach particular importance to the protection of the personal data of our website visitors and undertake to maintain the confidentiality of the data collected. This privacy statement (hereinafter referred to as the "Statement") applies to the personal data we process when you use the Sequotech website (www.sequotech.com) (hereinafter referred to as the “Site"). It describes the categories of personal data we collect and how we process such data.

Who is responsible for processing the data collected?

The data processor is Sequotech SA, a limited company incorporated under Swiss law (UID CHE- 253.939.537). Our registered office is located at Rue de la Jeunesse 2, 2800 Delémont.

What personal data is collected and for what purposes?

We apply the principle of minimizing personal data and only process data that is necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used. With this in mind, the personal data we process, and their purposes, can be summarized as follows:

Cookies

Data recipients


In order to make the site available to you, to ensure its smooth functioning and to provide accessible services, it may sometimes be necessary to communicate your personal data to third parties, in particular:

  • to suppliers, service providers and agents: occasionally, we may retain or appoint other companies or individuals to act in particular as subcontractors in order to provide content and perform services on our behalf (for example, in order to host site content, provide certain site services, conduct research, monitor and analyze the status of our network and the effectiveness of our communication, etc.);

 

  • to all entities of the Sequotech group: of which dbi services SA, UDITIS SA, exxo IT services AG and avency GmbH are a part, including their suppliers, service providers and agents, who may be involved in the provision of the site, its services or content.

 

International transfers

With the exception of data processed by Google Analytics in the USA, we process and host your personal data in Switzerland or within the European Economic Area (EEA) (see: Appendix 1 to the Privacy Statement below).


Should we need to use a foreign service provider located in a country that does not have an adequate level of data protection according to the competent data protection authorities, we will adopt the additional measures required by law before any communication of your data abroad, such as signing standard contractual data protection clauses.

Data security

Security measures (technical and organizational) consistent with standard practices have been put in place, taking into account the risks involved, to protect your personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, disclosure or unauthorized access.

Applicable law

As part of our activities, we are subject to the provisions of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). The competent supervisory authority for personal data protection is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Modifications

This Statement may be updated at any time without prior notice. Any modifications to the Statement will be posted on this page :
