Management Controller (W/M 80-100%)

 

Position Overview

The Management Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance management of the Sequotech group composed of Several Swiss entities as well as one German entity. This role involves managing key performance indicators (KPIs), performance measurement forecasting, financial analysis and actively participating to the budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will provide insights to the executive team to support decision-making and drive the overall financial performance of the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, monitoring, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve the financial and operational performance of the group and his entities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis, KPIs, and performance data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement performance measurement frameworks and dashboards to track the progress of the Swiss and German entities against strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Support the Group CFO and Group Accountant in the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to ensure alignment with the group’s strategic goals.


Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in a group or divisional controller role focusing on performance management within a complex, multi-entity organization.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, performance management, or financial planning and analysis roles.
    • Strong background in KPI development, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.
    • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar for data analysis and dashboard creation.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in ERP systems, ideally Business Central, and advanced Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and dashboard creation.

  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive performance across a diverse group of stakeholders.
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Fluent in English and either French or German (ideally both).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Experience in a multicultural environment and understanding of Swiss and German business cultures.

 

Location:

  • Delémont at least two days per week
  • Remote office possible two days per week
